Does your pet suffer from a chronic illness that’s negatively impacting his or her quality of life? Are you concerned that your elderly pet is in too much pain? Are you struggling to care for your terminally ill animal companion?

As loving pet parents, we’d all love to see our animal companions live as long as we do. Unfortunately, these precious souls are only with us for a finite amount of time. It’s essential that we take measures to make sure that the end of that time is spent as happily and painlessly as possible.

The end-of-life care services at Gause Boulevard Veterinary Hospital are designed to help extend those final days while also alleviating pain and reducing suffering. We understand that, as difficult as it is to say goodbye to a loved one, deciding when to do so can be even harder. Our compassionate team will be there to explain your options and help you make those tough decisions.

We also want you to know that, when that time does come, we’ll be right by your side. We understand exactly what you’re going through, because each one of us has been in your shoes. Rest assured that your pet will be treated with the utmost compassion and given the opportunity to cross the Rainbow Bridge with peace and dignity.

Are you struggling with end-of-life decisions for your elderly or terminally ill pet? Perhaps you just have questions about how hospice care works and whether it would be a good fit for your situation. In either case, we encourage you to pick up the phone and give the caring team at Gause Boulevard Veterinary Hospital a call. We’re here to help make this difficult time a little bit easier.
